YAMAHA NS-C1000

Commentary

This is a speaker system that uses the same unit and cabinet as the 2-way part of the NS-V1000YST to achieve the same sound quality.

A 16 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A white sheet cone similar to the NS-10M is used for the cone. By making it a curved type, it is designed with an emphasis on the mid-range sound range such as dialogue and vocals. This sheet cone is very lightweight with little unevenness in the density and thickness of the cone paper, making it possible to reproduce thick medium and low range sound.
Alnico magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.

The high-frequency band is equipped with a 3-cm dome type tweeter which is based on titanium and evaporated beryllium.
The weight reduction and rigidity of the beryllium diaphragm eliminate unnecessary high-frequency vibrations out of the band, enabling high-frequency reproduction extending to 30 kHz. This unit also uses an alnico magnet.

OFC (oxygen-free copper) is used for wiring in the network section.

The slanted shape of the enclosure suppresses the generation of internal standing waves.

It comes with a removable slant-shaped speaker stand that can be set directly facing the listener even if it is installed as a center speaker at a low position.
