Commentary

A speaker system that pursues the reality of music as a high-transient ハイエナージッシュ speaker.

A 30 cm cone type woofer using a sprue scone developed in the NS 690 III is installed in the low range.
For the cone part of NS 600, only the straight grain part of spruce for a grand piano is used, and the shape is finished into a conical type with corrugation to suppress the divided vibration and obtain a wide piston motion band.
In addition, foamed urethane roll edge is adopted for the edge, and sufficient consideration is given to the material and impregnation agent for the damper supporting the vibration system.
The voice coil is a long voice coil type with copper ribbon wire wound edgewise, the magnetic circuit is a ferrite magnet of 120 φ -60 φ -20t, and the center pole is covered with a copper cap to suppress magnetic distortion.

A 10 cm semi-dome type squaker using a newly developed titanium carbide (TiC) diaphragm is mounted in the middle region.
TiC is generally known as a super-hardened heat-resistant material. It is coated on the surfaces of wear-resistant parts made of steel or cemented carbide to achieve life extension hardening. In the NS 600, it has a sandwich structure (patented) in which the surface of pure titanium is titanium carbide, and it is molded with high precision by chemical vapor deposition (CVD).

A 3-cm dome type tweeter with beryllium diaphragm is mounted in the high frequency range.
The voice coil uses an aluminum ribbon wire edgewise wound voice coil that has undergone heat-resistant treatment, and the edge is a tangential edge of special fiber with double coating of viscoelastic resin and thermosetting resin.

Aluminum die-cast is used for the frame of each unit.

The constant of the network section is determined by checking electrical characteristics and cut-and-try by hearing test.
A oxygen-free copper wire with low DC resistance is wound around a bobbin with a silicon steel core, and the coils are installed at right angles to each other to prevent interference.
In addition, an MP capacitor is used for the capacitor in consideration of acoustic characteristics, and deterioration of sound quality is reduced by using a lot of oxygen-free copper wires.

The enclosure has a Barcelona walnut finish.
The entire surface is made of the same particleboards. The baffle plate is 25 mm thick, the side surface is 18 mm thick, and the back surface is 19 mm thick. It has sufficient strength to reduce the noise of the enclosure.
