YAMAHA NS-10MM

Commentary

A small speaker system developed for theater sound, inheriting the design philosophy of the NS-1000M and NS-10M.

A 9 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This woofer unit uses the same white cone as the NS-10M Series, as well as a large 60 mm diameter magnet, fabric edge and aluminum voice coil bobbin.

A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The vibration plate and the edge of this unit are molded in one piece to increase the strength, and the heat-resistant Kapton voice coil bobbin and magnetic fluid cooling system improve the input resistance.

The magnetic circuit uses an A / MAG type anti-magnetic design.
In this system, both the main magnet and the cancel magnet are magnetized in the optimum environment respectively, and the current distortion generated by the conventional cancel magnet system is canceled.

The enclosure is hermetically sealed using MDF, and Yamaha's proprietary three way flow retaining structure is used to join the parts, resulting in dramatic improvements in the durability and accuracy of the plate.

There are 2 variations of the appearance, black and cherry.
