Commentary
A record player of almost the same composition except that two of a silent ending mechanism and a pitch controller are eliminated from YP-D10.
The drive section uses a direct drive system using a DC motor with a starting torque of 1.2 kg ・ cm.
The servo mechanism uses an Ultra Detector and FG (Frequency Generator) servo circuit with accurate rotational speed detection power. In addition, a quartz PLL servo circuit has been introduced to improve turntable rotational accuracy.
An aluminum die-cast turntable with a diameter of 31.5 cm is used for the turntable with a precise dynamic balance. This turntable has an inertial mass of 360 kg ・ cm because its mass is moved to the outer circumference.2The accuracy is maintained against high frequency transient load variations where the PLL servo becomes ineffective.
The power supply section is strong enough to extract a large current of 1000 mA and maintain a constant voltage of 24 V.
In addition, the SN ratio has been improved by attaching a triple structure shield to the power supply section and taking measures to prevent vibration of the transformer.
The tone arm is a gimbal support system with a pivot made of polished chrome molybdenum steel. It uses an S-shaped pipe arm made of special aluminum alloy with a horizontal and vertical initial motion sensitivity of 3 mg or less. The head shell is also made of special aluminum alloy die-cast to provide sufficient strength and lightness.
The 6 mm stroke arm height adjustment mechanism also supports a variety of cartridges.
The inside force canceler is a roller string and counterweight type with high precision.
From the cartridge to the pin plug, NEGLEX low impedance cable with a resistance value of 0.71 Ω is used, and gold plating is applied to prevent contact failure.
The cabinet is a 64 mm thick solid type with high-density particle-laminated layers to reduce internal and external vibration, and the arm stand and arm base are made of 1 kg zinc die-cast.
Double damping system is adopted for the insulator.
Finished with Salomon Wall straight grain PVC cosmetic finish.
