Commentary
A record player developed with Yamaha's highly accurate processing technology.
A 30 cm aluminum die-cast turntable is used for the turntable.
In addition, the motor uses a belt drive system that uses a synchronous type with constant rotation.
The entire mechanism is suspended by Yamaha's unique M. V. O. (motor vibration off) double float suspension system to reduce vibration from the motor and the outside.
A simple J-shaped light alloy pipe arm is used for the tone arm.
It is a total mass balance type with an effective length of 221.6 mm and an additional mechanism contained in the frame, and it is a tone arm with high tracing capability.
In addition, it adopts the head shell of the international standard plug-in exchange system, and in addition, the needle pressure is direct reading adjustable type, and it is equipped with an anti-skater mechanism.
The cartridge uses the moving magnet type Shear M75 series.

This mechanism is a mix of the advantages of manual operation and automatic operation. Auto-start and auto-cut can be performed only by the operation of the switch which serves both Play and Off functions. Manual start is also possible.
There is a built-in queuing mechanism that allows you to pause the recording or re-play it from halfway.
The slow movement of the silicone hydraulic cylinder prevents the record from being damaged.
The cabinet has a rosewood finish.
