Commentary
Full component size double reverse deck.
Two noise reduction systems, Dolby B and Dolby C, are installed as a noise reduction system.
Equipped with 3 types of reverse modes : manual reverse, Oatley reverse, and auto reverse repeat.
With manual reverse, only one side is recorded and played back. With Oatley Verse, only one round is recorded and played back. With auto reverse repeat, you can play up to 8 times each of Deck A and B, and you can also play the relay from Deck A to B.
Dubbing can be done with one touch operation Deck A and Deck B can be synchronized with one switch.
There are two modes, Normal (constant speed) and High (double speed). You can dub while listening to music and speed dub which takes 1/2 of the required time.
The head uses a photo-sensor type optical quick reverse mechanism.
In this system, the photo sensor detects the start of the leader tape and reverses it, so long recording of continuous A/B surface is possible.
It is equipped with a music search that allows you to find the beginning of one song before and after.
Equipped with a REC return function, if you perform a direct rewind operation during recording, the tape is rewound to the recording start point and automatically stopped.
Auto-Rec Mute is installed on Deck A so that you can make a 4-second blank with one touch during recording.
Equipped with a peak level meter using LED.
Equipped with headphone output.
Operation from a remote location is possible by connecting the optional remote controller RS-WK5.
