Commentary
A CDV/CD player that can play video CDs.
The optical head uses a high-precision objective lens that narrows down the laser beam spot by increasing the aperture ratio.
In addition, the performance of the optical head has been improved by adopting a head amplifier integrated with the pickup, a laser diode for LV that is resistant to disturbance, and an actuator with reinforced magnets.
It is equipped with TBC (Time Base Collector) which corrects minute time axis disturbance of the signal read from the disk.
In the CDV-S100, the video FM signal read by the newly developed optical head is directly corrected by the original LSI to eliminate unnecessary intermediate processing, thereby maintaining a wide video band as it is. Furthermore, to prevent interference between audio and video signals, each FM signal is processed separately.
It uses an original LSI with a built-in digital filter to cut unnecessary high-frequency noise.
Mutual interference is eliminated by adopting an A/V independent board and a large oxygen-free copper transformer in which the audio, video and display systems are completely independent of the windings.
Quality parts such as non-inductive polypropylene capacitors and DEW capacitors are used for the signal circuit.
Wireless remote control is included.
