Commentary

MC type stereo cartridge that uses pure boron pipe cantilever.

Pure boron cantilever is used for the cantilever.
This cantilever realizes light weight and high strength by refining boron, which has the highest specific elastic modulus among existing elements, into a pipe shape by a special manufacturing method.
In addition, a laser beam is used to process the tip mount hole for attaching the needle tip to pursue accuracy, thereby obtaining an extremely small effective mass of the vibrator and driving the high resonance frequencies out of the range of audibility.

Uses the TTDD (Technics Temperature Defence Damper) developed by Technics.
Compared with the commonly used butyl rubber, this material has improved temperature dependency to about 1/3, has excellent viscoelasticity, and is a damper material with excellent cantilever support performance.
As a result, there is almost no change in sound quality or deterioration in tracing performance due to changes in room temperature.

Uses a one point suspension system using a high magnetic samarium-cobalt magnet.

It uses a pure coil structure without an iron core to suppress magnetic loss and distortion due to iron or other magnetic materials. In addition, by using a non-iron core, the weight of the coil is reduced and the effective mass is minimized.
Moreover, by adopting a twin-ring coil system in which two ultra-small ring-shaped coils corresponding to each channel vibrate in two independent magnetic gaps, excellent channel separation characteristics are realized.
