EPA-B500
EPA-B500 is an arm base to which an arm unit can be attached.

The EPA-B500 has a unique gimbal suspension bearing structure that is mounted on the Technixtone Arm, while the arm unit has a replaceable structure.
The gimbal suspension system is a 4-point support system using a high-precision pivot and ball bearings. The structure in which the axis of the horizontal and vertical rotation axes intersect at a single point realizes high sensitivity with an initial motion sensitivity of less than 7 mg in both horizontal and vertical directions.
This bearing is supported by a precision zinc die-cast base to completely suppress external vibration. In addition, a highly reliable sliding connector is used for the arm unit and arm base to provide a self-cleaning effect when replacing the unit.

Equipped with 12 helicoid arm height adjustment mechanism, high precision arm height adjustment is possible.

Since the output cord has a low DC resistance of 39.5m Ω / m and a low capacitance (41.5pF/m), it has excellent transmission characteristics.

EPA-A501H
EPA-A501H is an arm unit for high compliance cartridge.

This arm unit inherits the functions of EPA-100 and adopts a unique dynamic damping mechanism for the balance weight. The low-frequency resonance sharpness of the arm unit is improved by more than 6 dB compared with the normal arm. Moreover, unlike the oil-dump damping system, the low-frequency mechanical impedance does not increase, and the attenuation characteristics below the low-frequency resonance frequency are improved. By this, by selecting the arm unit that matches the cartridge, the resonance peak is dramatically reduced and the low-frequency characteristics are improved.

The pipe material of the arm unit is titanium nitride (TiN), which is highly rigid and lightweight titanium with special nitriding treatment. This eliminates the partial resonance of the tone arm and provides an ideal mechanical strength distribution, reducing the weight by 85% compared with conventional aluminum pipes and achieving a mechanical strength of approximately 1.6 times.

SH-50P1
The SH-50P1 is a highly sensitive electronic needle pressure meter that uses the piezoresistance effect, which changes electric resistance when stress (needle pressure) is applied.
High accuracy is achieved by electronic control using two semi-conductor stain gauges and two transistors, and the needle pressure value is directly read by a large meter.
