Technics SU-7
¥ 52,600 (released in October 1982)
Commentary
315 mm wide jacket size pre-main amplifier.
It adopts a new class A system using a synchronous bias circuit unique to Technics.
The synchronous bias circuit always keeps the output stage active by supplying a constant bias current to the output transistor to eliminate switching distortion. In addition, the new class A is independent of the signal path and bias current, so it is coupled with the action of a fast response diode with nearly ideal square characteristics to eliminate crossover distortion.
Equipped with a high-precision large power meter that can read directly from 0.001W.
It is equipped with a super base that automatically detects the fo (lowest resonance frequency) of the speaker and enhances the point.
The volume is a slide-type volume.
Equipped with electronic protection circuit.
A unique direct connector is adopted, and no pin cord is required for connection of ST-5 and SH-E5.
