Commentary

A floor-type speaker system developed using Aisin Takaoka's vibration control technology.

The low band is equipped with a 25 cm cone woofer made by Danish ScanSpeake.
The diaphragm uses a non-pressed pulp cone type, which is lightweight yet has high rigidity and high internal loss.

The mid-range is equipped with an 18 cm cone type mid-range made by ScanSpeak which is the same as the low-range.
Non-prescone is used for the diaphragm.

A 2.8 cm soft dome type tweeter made by Dinaudio of Denmark is installed in the high range.

The network section uses carefully selected parts such as OFC-rated coils and high-precision capacitors. The layout is designed to minimize the effects of magnetic fields and currents. In addition, all contacts are caulked to eliminate solder alloy interference in consideration of minute signal flow.
The mounting of the network is vibration-proof, the parts are fixed to the board with felt, and the board is made of MDF of the same material for sound consistency with the enclosure.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
High-density conifer MDF is used for the plate material, the front baffle and base plate are 30 mm thick, both sides are a composite structure of 24 mm thick MDF and 12 mm thick solid alder material, and the remaining two sides are 24 mm thick.
The front baffle adopts an isorayed mounting method, and by arranging a mount ring made of high carbon cast iron, the vibration of the medium and low frequency unit is not directly transmitted to the enclosure, and the minute deformation of the unit frame due to the movement of the diaphragm is minimized, which brings out the performance of the unit.
An adjustable pendulum made of high carbon cast iron is placed on the top plate to adjust the sound of the top plate, and an insulator made of high carbon cast iron is placed on the bottom plate to ensure the sound of the bottom plate and to block vibration from the floor.
The front baffle is slanted to prevent standing waves and at the same time achieve time alignment.
In addition, the FC5000 has improved the quality of the low-frequency sound image by adopting new technologies such as a partition plate structure to achieve both a sense of volume and a sense of speed at low sound and a bass reflex port made of a new material that does not cause air column resonance.

Equipped with a speaker terminal for bi-wiring.
