Separate stereo equipped with acoustic control.

Amplifier section
Equipped with an acoustic control that can adjust the frequency characteristics according to the acoustic characteristics of the room.
This circuit has five compensation curves based on a large number of measured data, and can be adjusted according to the acoustic characteristics of the listening room.

The SEPP-OTL-ITL system of the complimentary service Darlington circuit is used for the circuit configuration of the amplifier section.

Specially selected transistors are used in the audio circuit and tuner section to improve S/N and stability.

The FM front-end uses a 3-row varicon and the RF stage uses an FET to obtain high sensitivity and improve the interference rejection capability. The AGC circuit also improves the selectivity in a strong electric field.
In addition, the 4-stage IF amplifier and 3-stage limiter circuit provide a sufficient limiter effect, thereby improving the performance and receiving capability.

Equipped with a pure electronic FM stereo / mono switching function, FM-AUTO automatically switches to stereo reception, and FM-AUTO automatically switches to monaural reception with weak electrolysis based on the pilot signal, avoiding noisy stereo reception.
The stereo indicator lights when a stereo signal is received.

It is equipped with an FM antenna input selector switch, enabling reception with less distortion even in strong electric field regions.

The speaker cable is designed to be used as an FM antenna and does not need to be connected to the FM antenna in areas other than weak radio waves.

The AM antenna uses a high-sensitivity ferrite bar antenna and is designed to use an external antenna.

Heat radiation effect is enhanced by heat sinker of aluminum plate.
In addition, a power transistor protection circuit using a short-cut fuse is mounted for emergency.

An extra speaker connector is provided so that you can connect another pair of speakers in addition to the attached speakers.
You can also use the Speaker Selector to switch the output speaker.

Equipped with a loudness control.

Equipped with a DIN connector, tape monitor circuit and headphone jack.

Player part
The drive system is a direct drive system in which the inner rim of the double-rim turntable is driven by a belt, and smooth rotation is obtained by suppressing ground noise and noise. The drive motor is a newly designed large capacitor-activated 4-pole hysteresis synchronous motor with four poles.
When the power supply is turned off, the speed switching mechanism is automatically interlocked to prevent deformation of the belt, which is a problem with belt drive systems. In addition, the belt uses a polyurethane belt with a precision grinder finish to reduce thickness unevenness.

The arm part uses a static balance type pipe arm with direct needle pressure reading.
The APS 1400 is equipped with inside for scan seller.

European standard spare shell is included.
Light alloy is used for this head shell, and strength is increased by bending the edge downward.

A newly designed IM-type cartridge is used.
This cartridge uses a linear lightweight cantilever and realizes high compliance by reducing the weight of the moving part.

It is equipped with a start lifter. When the lever is lowered toward you, the oil dump arm elevation works and the operation starts quietly.
Since this mechanism uses SANSUI's original delay operation type, even if the ON/OFF operation is violently caused by rapid operation, it does not cause unpleasant decrease.

Equipped with a special rubber sheet containing anti-static agent.

In the APS 1400, a die-cast motor board is used for the board on which the turntable mechanism is mounted to reduce vibration.

Speaker part
The speaker section is a 3-way design. It is equipped with a 30 cm cone woofer of free edge type for the low range, a 12.5 cm cone scoker of rear closed type for the middle range, and a 5 cm horn type tweeter for the high range.

A specially designed ferrite core utilizing Sansui's transformer technology is used in the network circuit to improve the damping factor.

The enclosure is a special bass reflex system using a pipe duct. A special felt sound-absorbing material is used inside, and a reinforcing plate and a resonance prevention arm are attached to prevent standing waves.
It is made of a chip board and has an open pore finish with natural wood walnut. In addition, the front grill uses Sansui's unique lattice pattern.

Other
The center cabinet is a record case, but you can take off the board and put a tape deck in it.
In addition, the tape deck stand can be pulled out forward for easy tape operation.
