Commentary
Like the SR 4040, it is a record player that thoroughly pursues the basic performance of the player.
With a direct drive mechanism that drives the inner rim of the double-rim turntable by means of a belt, stable running can be obtained without generating rumbling or noise.
A 4-pole hysteresis synchronous motor with a large condenser is used for the motor.
When the power is OFF, the speed switching mechanism is automatically interlocked to suppress deformation of the belt.
In addition, the belt used is a polyurethane endless belt with a grinder finish with extremely high precision and uniform thickness to a value of micron order.
The arm uses a highly sensitive, non-resonant, needle pressure direct reading static balanced pipe arm.
Sensitivity is improved by designing the weight, friction resistance and inertial efficiency of the arm moving part to be as small as possible.
The cartridge uses an IM (Induced Magnet) type.
It uses a linear lightweight cantilever to further reduce the mass of the moving part and is designed for high compliance that stretches well in the high-frequency range.
It is equipped with a lightweight spare shell that uses a special light alloy and a reinforcing rib by bending the edge downward to solve the strength and resonance point.
Since it has a weight of only 7g including the lead wire and uses European standard connector, it can be used for other arms.
It uses a delay action type start and lifter, and even if it is turned on / off by a sudden operation, the unpleasant phenomenon such as the arm dancing on the lifter is suppressed.
Adopts a speed switching mechanism by push button.
Uses special material rubber cushion to prevent howling.
It uses a special rubber sheet filled with anti-static agent to prevent the record from being charged.
The cabinet has a walnut open pore finish and comes with an acrylic dust cover.
