Commentary
A full-auto DD player with various functions.
It is equipped with a random program automatic music selection mechanism, and you can play up to 7 songs inscribed on the record in your favorite order.
It is also equipped with a repeat function so that it can be played repeatedly in the order of songs as programmed.
Equipped with a computer edit function.
This function can be used in conjunction with a PC-EDIT-compatible cassette deck (D-M7, D-570, D-370, SC-A33, etc.) to automatically adjust the timing between the player's performance start / stop and the cassette deck's recording start / stop according to a control signal from the player's built-in computer.
A 3-phase full-wave 20-pole 30-slot DD motor is used as the drive motor. In addition, a highly accurate variable reactance FG servo is used to reduce the influence of transient load fluctuations during record tracing.
Drift and start-up overshoot have also been greatly improved.
The tone arm uses a straight arm with an optimum support system.
The pivot shaft of this arm is set to dynamic balance point so that the signal picked up from the needle tip is not transmitted to the pivot, and conversely, external vibration is not transmitted to the needle tip.
The cartridge is equipped with a dual magnet type SV 202.
