Commentary
This is a double cassette deck that can record two devices simultaneously or in series.
The D-W9 allows simultaneous recording on both A and B decks.
Series recording / playback is also available in SERIES mode in which the B deck operates when the A deck ends. In addition, after the B deck is played back, if the A deck is not in the end state, it can be relayed to the A deck again.
Equipped with RMPS (Random Music Program Search), which is a random automatic selection mechanism of up to 15 songs, you can play your favorite songs in your favorite order on both A and B decks.
In addition, the number of RMPS tracks and the memory display are indicated by the LED so that you can check them at a glance. When a stored track ends, the E symbol appears so that you can store it again.
Equipped with an automatic editing and recording mechanism (Computer Edit).
A microcomputer controlled one key full logic control system is adopted, and A and B decks are operated with a single operation system.
Equipped with microphone input, triple microphone mixing is possible.
With triple microphone mixing, you can record playback mixing during playback, mix recording between source and microphone (A or B deck alone, or A and B deck simultaneously), or record microphone mixing on B deck while playing on A deck.
The Dolby C type is mounted as a noise reduction system, and the tape hissing can be 20 dB.
In addition, when dubbing, Dolby is OFF to prevent Dolby from working double.
The mechanism section is equipped with a 2 + 1 motor computer controlled full logic mechanism on both decks A and B.
This mechanism enables smooth and quiet operation by using a special motor for mechanical drive.
Both A and B decks are equipped with an auto tape selector with an LED display that automatically detects the type of tape.
Equipped with an automatic recording level adjustment mechanism to prevent recording level setting errors.
It is designed to make an electronic sound during all operations, and operation can be checked.
Equipped with timer REC/PLAY switch, series long time absence recording from A deck to B deck and alarm clock playback are possible.
Equipped with a tape lead-in function to fast-forward the leader tape portion and put the tape in standby state.
Equipped with an auto REC mute function that allows you to create between songs with no recording for 4 seconds.
