SANSUI D-370
¥ 59,800 (released in 1981)
Commentary
A stereo cassette deck equipped with Dolby C.
It is equipped with DACS8 (Digital, Auto, Computerized, Scanner8) with original microcomputer technology, and realizes automatic operation by micro computer. In addition, the operability is improved by sharing functions by arranging eight switches side by side rather than concentrating several functions on one switch.
Equipped with dual mode electronic counter, normal electronic counter can be changed to real-time counter with one push.
The built-in timebase allows for real-time counting without errors due to tape thickness or hub diameter.
By storing the start address (0000) and end address (optional) with the dual memory function function, you can repeat play from one place to another.
Equipped with 4-mode AMPS (Automatic Music Program Search) mechanism, further developed from SANSUI's original 2-mode AMPS (Automatic Music Program Search) with standby and play-switching system. For example, you can play a single song on standby, start immediately, or repeat one song on standby, which is automatically rewound after one song is played.
Automatic editing and recording is possible in combination with players (FR-D50A, P-M7) equipped with SANSUI's automatic random selection mechanism.
By connecting the standard adapter cord, you can copy and edit the random auto-selected music to tape as it is. You can record only your favorite songs in your favorite order.
As a noise reduction system, Dolby C is installed, enabling noise reduction of 20 dB at 1 kHz.
Uses a 2-motor mechanism that uses dedicated motors for each of the capstan and reel drive.
Capstan drives, which are especially important for tape travel, use a direct drive system using a coreless SBL (slot brushless) motor that does not cause cocking, and achieve excellent rotational accuracy.
Equipped with SANSUI's unique roller back tension mechanism that realizes optimum head touch and stable tape travel.
A dynaroy head is used for recording and reproducing.
Equipped with 12-dot LED peak level meter.
Equipped with a REC MUTE that creates a 4-second unrecorded part, a tape lead-in function that passes the beginning part of the tape, and a recording / re-switching timer switch that can be used for recording messages and alarms.
