Commentary
Compression driver also used in Exclusive model2251.
The diaphragm uses a 4.8 cm beryllium diaphragm, which is formed by a special vacuum deposition technique and is lightweight and highly rigid. This diaphragm drives the wide resonance frequency out of the audible band, resulting in flatter characteristics, superior resolution and transient characteristics.
With an Alnico magnet and an internal magnetic circuit precisely assembled with pure iron poles, top plates, and ductile iron yokes, excellent linearity and wide-band reproduction are achieved.
The phasing plug, which prevents phase disturbance of sound waves, uses an annular slit type that facilitates phase matching in an ultra-wide range, improving the regenerative capacity in the high-frequency range.
We have also reviewed the power supply section and adopted a structure in which a lead wire can be directly connected to the diaphragm assembly from outside to reduce the influence of internal AC magnetic flux and sound pressure.
