Commentary
This pre-main amplifier uses a non-switching circuit for more beautiful and natural sound.
Pioneer's original non-switching circuit is used in the power amplifier section to suppress switching distortion.
In addition, a multiple differential feedback loop (Nested Feedback Loops) devised by Professor Cherry of the University of Monash, Australia (at that time) is employed to realize a low distortion factor over a wide bandwidth.
All stages are equipped with a non-coupling capacitor by adopting a DC servo circuit, and a line straight function that sends signals directly from the equalizer section to the power section. These features are designed to ensure sound purity.
