Commentary

A SoundSpace music system that aims for audio that subtly blends into the living space.

The SoundSpace5 can be installed on a desk or shelf at an angle of about 10 degrees, and can also be mounted on a wall with a mounting hole in the back.

The front panel of the main unit is made of aluminum and clear acrylic and is designed to be illuminated with blue or green light.
The speakers are also made of aluminum panels and come with 3 types of speaker grills to choose from 3 colors of charcoal gray / blue / green to suit your interior.

The main unit is equipped with a 3-string music bank CD changer, an FM/AM tuner and a preamplifier.
The CD changer mechanism uses a unique Nakamichi system that does not use a magazine. It provides the same operating feeling as a single-disc CD player and safety loading that does not damage the disc.
It is also equipped with playback functions such as all-disc memory play, random play, all-repeat and memory repeat of up to 50 songs.
The FM/AM tuner uses a quartz synthesizer system can store a total of 30 preset memories (20 FM stations and 10 AM stations). It is also equipped with functions such as preset scanning and seek tuning.

Each speaker is an active type with its own built-in power amplifier.
The unit has a 10-cm cone woofer in the low range and a 2.5 cm dome tweeter in the high range. These units originated in Shinkai for this system and make it possible to reproduce excellent stereo images by matching the characteristics of the amplifier and the speaker unit. In particular, by matching the phase characteristics (time lag) of each frequency of the music signal, excellent sound quality is achieved.

Equipped with an optical digital output terminal that can be connected to digital sound recording devices such as MD recorders.
This jack can only output CD sound.

Equipped with an RCA output terminal and a subwoofer output terminal that can be output to a cassette deck, etc.
An auxiliary input terminal is also provided.

Equipped with tone control function, Bass/Mid/Treble can be adjusted.
It also has a loudness control.

Equipped with a sleep timer function.

It has a headphone port.

It comes with 2 types of remote control, main remote control and sub remote control.
