NAGAOKA NM-33

Commentary
MM type cartridge with an emphasis on sound quality.
Conventional cartridges pursue characteristics by making the vibration system lighter, but with the NM-33, we are improving the sound quality by repeatedly improving the material of the damper and the angle of the lever, which are the key points of the sound quality.
For dampers in particular, we pursue three elements : viscosity, elasticity, and hardness.
The S/N ratio has been improved by increasing the output from the conventional cartridge.
Precautions when replacing the NM-33 needle
The holder of this cartridge (metal fitting around the lever and damper) has loose contact with the pole piece so that it cannot be deformed by external force, and it is strongly held by the mold (needle knob).
