Commentary
Horn type tweeter that employs a split-horn.
The diaphragm is made of 0.0056 cm aluminum foil molded by air pressure and has undergone electrolytic protection treatment. Since the sound wave emitted from the diaphragm passes through the diffraction horn, the directional characteristics are greatly improved.
The magnetic circuit uses an Alnico V magnet and a 44 mm diameter edgewise wound voice coil.
The impedance was 12 Ω in the initial model, but it was changed to 16 Ω from around 1975.
The mounting hole is 8.1 cm common to 2402, 2403 and 2405.
