Commentary
Horn lens developed for SR at relatively short distance of around 10m.
It uses an acoustic lens with laminated ring-shaped porous screens, and has the effect of diffusing middle and high sound in a 90 ° cone shape.
Although the orientation pattern of this type of perforated lens is determined by the distance between the plates and the size of the screen holes, the basic feature is a soft edge pattern, so that natural sound fields can be reproduced in a wide range at a short distance.
The leading edge of the lens has a flange that can be mounted on the baffle from the front.
