Commentary
A 38 cm cone woofer unit designed for sound reinforcement.
In the 2225H/2225J, the allowable input is improved by improving the damper.
In addition, the corrugation of the cone paper provides smooth attenuation and less distortion on the high-frequency side, so it can be used at relatively high crossover frequencies.
The magnetic circuit uses a low-distortion SFG structure and takes advantage of the high linearity of the 16 mm long voice coil.
Because fo is relatively high, flat low-frequency characteristics can be obtained in a small volume bass reflex enclosure as well as horn loading.
There were 2 types of 2225H, 8 Ω and 16 Ω. The 16 Ω model has a model number of 2225J (2225 hj).
