BOSE AM-3II/AM-3WII
¥ 61,800 (1 set, sold in October 1991)
Commentary
This is a 2.1 channel speaker system based on the acoustimass method combining Bose's unique acoustic theory.
The AM-3II consists of a woofer system and satellite speakers, and while it is compact, it reproduces a natural acoustic space.
Satellite speaker
The satellite speaker is a 5.7 cm cone type with a low flux leakage type magnetic shield.
The grill section is equipped with a 2-piece plastic grill that suppresses the initial reflection from the cone paper and reduces the sense of distortion due to phase interference.
Base box
In the Air Kusu TimMass system, the woofer unit is supported by an air spring, and the reproduced signal in the middle and high band and harmonic distortion generated by corn paper are eliminated by an acoustic filter using the air spring.
As a result, the dynamic range is expanded due to the low distortion factor and the enclosure size is reduced.
The base box is equipped with a dual voice coil type 13.3 cm cone woofer.
The dual voice coil allows for the input of electrically independent L/R signals into one woofer unit, resulting in a significant reduction in volume.
Other
There are 2 color variations, black and white.
There was a small stand for satellite speakers.
