Commentary
This is a power amplifier developed for professional use in recording studios and stage side.
The entire body case is made of aluminum die-cast and is designed to be used as a heat sink.
This improves the rigidity of the body while effectively cooling the heat associated with high output, and suppresses vibration and resonance that adversely affect sound.
The 1706 ii is equipped with a PAP (Psycho Acoustically Processed) circuit which is Bose's patented technology.
This circuit was developed to cope with the phenomenon that the human ear becomes less able to hear sound in a certain band as the volume decreases. This circuit automatically controls the frequency balance so that sound can be heard naturally at any volume level.
Equipped with Route 3 input terminals, various sources can be connected.
Volume and selector are mounted on the front panel.
The Rec output terminal that directly outputs the input signal is mounted.
It can be layered with the Speaker System 101 Series or installed on the microphone stand.
