Commentary

A speaker system developed in pursuit of realistic and life-force music playback with a high musical dimension and balance.

A 29 cm cone woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit employs a newly developed magnetic circuit designed to reduce the adverse effects caused by second / third harmonic distortion.

9 cm cone type mid-range using ceramic cone is mounted in the mid-range.

A 2 cm dome type tweeter using a pure diamond diaphragm is mounted in the high range.

A newly designed crossover network has been adopted.
In DIAMOND, a new topology (topological circuit) was developed to cope with large transient current fluctuations without causing distortion due to the magnetic field while keeping the noise lower, and a newly developed unique component was added inside the crossover.
The cables used are specially developed and selected according to the service band. They are wound using ultra-high purity long crystal copper material with Avalon's unique technology.

The cabinet is made of Adolon foam, and the cabinet structure is rebuilt to draw out the capacity of the units used.

There were two variations in the appearance finish.
