Commentary

The speaker system was developed with the aim of being a speaker that reproduces realistic music by making full use of the technology, rather than partially improving the existing equivalent model.

Two 17.5 cm cone type woofers are installed in the low range, and low sound reproduction with volume and speed is realized by multiple use.
A cone combining Nomex and Kevlar is used for the diaphragm to prevent distortion and deflection.

A 2.5 cm titanium dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.

In order to ensure pair-matching, ASCENDAnt strictly selects drivers based on the results of TEF measurements of sweep noise response.

The network section has a three dimensional structure to maintain immunity from electromagnetic and radio waves. The crossover frequency is designed to eliminate ripple waves from each driver. Most parts are OEM or in-house manufactured to Avalon specifications, ensuring high precision and consistency of quality.
This network circuit is encapsulated and housed in an independent chamber inside the enclosure to eliminate the adverse effects of speaker resonance. The two crossovers are isolated to prevent mutual interference between the crossover bands, and the ground is independent from each other to provide a bi-wire effect with a single wire connection.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system with a newly designed port.
This port is an extension of the teal small theory. It eliminates the interference of sound from the driver body and port, which is a defect of the port, and realizes a natural low frequency with a good expansion of the response. The network section is designed to match the newly designed port. The frequency band in which the port operates is determined by a multifaceted and complex computer simulation, and the wave from the port is made to be a positive phase wave.
Golden ratio 6-layer low-resonance MDF is used for the baffle surface. On top of the MDF, a very hard surface base made of natural wood powder is bonded by a 2-ton press and shaped by hand work. It is also assembled by skilled workers in a traditional precision wooden construction without using any nails or screws that can cause slight errors.

The exterior is made of the highest quality surface wood manually selected by a furniture craftsman, pressed together, shaped by hand work and given an oil finish.
