AR Turntable (80 s)
Commentary

This turntable was improved by gathering experience, know-how and analog reproduction technology of AR Co.

This turntable has been improved based on the AR turntable developed in 1962.

The cabinet structure adopts a floating suspension system, and the turntable body is floated from the cabinet by three coil springs, which shut out acoustic feedback harmful to record playback.

An oil bearing structural support shaft has been adopted for the center pin dollar to realize smooth rotation.
In addition, the 2-layer turntable, which is strong against resonance, is belt-driven using a 24 pole synchronous motor to achieve smooth rotation accuracy.

The cabinet uses high density particleboards and the exterior is finished with high quality walnut veneer.

The AR turntable was an armless model, but there was an original arm-equipped model which pursued the matching of the AR turntable.
