Commentary
The subwoofer system is an improved version of the MK-2.
The MK series is a product of ALTEC Sound Development (ASD), a brand established by Elektri, and is a Japanese systematized version of ALTEC products.
The unit has been changed from 921 to 8 a and the height of the cabinet has been increased by 55 mm, which improves the response in the lower range.
The unit is equipped with 38 cm cone type woofer ER-15.
The enclosure is equipped with a turning front load horn and a special center equalizer to approximate the shape of the horn.
FRP and wood plywood are used as materials.
The MK-2A has the same installation area as the MK-1A and is provided with anti-slip during stacking, making it possible to stack only the MK-2A or combine it with the MK-1A.
