Commentary
This is a sub-woofer that uses the YST system to enable ultra-low frequency playback despite its compact size.
The YST method realizes an air woofer in which the air inside the port directly moves the diaphragm, so distortion such as stroke distortion and magnetic distortion is reduced.
In addition, intermodulation transient distortion caused by interference between sound pressures of speakers has been greatly minimized by reducing the size of the speaker unit and linear drive using a negative impedance circuit.
As a result, it is possible to achieve low sound reproduction with good stretch and crisp sound.
We have succeeded in a compact design with an internal volume of 22 liters, and it can be stored in a Yamaha GT rack when placed horizontally.
The built-in power amplifier is an all-discrete configuration.
Since the high-cut frequency is continuously variable from 50 Hz to 200 Hz, it can be set to the optimum point of hearing and the speaker with different characteristics depending on the model.
In addition, the high-cut frequency has a slope of -24dB/oct., so it can naturally and smoothly with any type of speaker.
It is equipped with a phase switch that can be switched depending on the type of speaker to be paired, room condition and sound preference.
You can set the sound quality that suits your preference.
It comes with a remote control that can adjust the volume of the output ON/OFF in the listening position.
Speaker input / output terminal and pin input terminal are mounted so that it can be easily set with any amplifier.
