Commentary
LD player compatible with CD, CDV and LD.
A 1-motor drive system is adopted for the drive mechanism and high reliability is obtained.
In addition, a fully open tray has been adopted for the tray part to make it easy to take in and out disks.
The pickup uses a newly developed original optical head with a short optical path length.
It is equipped with newly developed mechanical tilt servo and image NR which is compatible with LD with sled.
Yamaha's Direct FM TBC system is used in the Imaging Department.
To avoid interference between video and audio signals, each FM signal is processed separately, and interference at the power supply section is also eliminated by using an independent board and independent power supply.
An original LSI with a built-in digital filter is used for the audio part.
Uses vibration-proof hybrid chassis and high-sound quality parts.
In addition, non-interference wiring by computer analysis is adopted.
It uses an all-disk full-time display that allows you to check the player's operation and control.
With this function, you can always display the operations you have just performed, such as various searches, on the TV screen.
It is equipped with an on-screen 15-track program editing function that allows you to edit programs while viewing them on the TV screen.
Four types of repeat playback are possible : one song, one side, between A and B, and program.
The CAV disc supports multi-speed playback, with 10-step frame-by-frame advance playback from one 3 second to 12 times speed in both forward and reverse directions.
It is equipped with an address memory function. When you press the key at the desired location, the time number and frame number of that location are memorized and you can play from that scene.
A 31-key full-mode remote control is included.
