YAMAHA SPS-10000

Commentary

A speaker stand exclusively for the NSX-10000, developed by Yamaha to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its founding.

It is made of African paddock which is known as a material for Marimba and is excellent in hardness and fineness. It is processed into 4-legged specifications with wing cross-sectional shape based on aerodynamics using Yamaha's woodworking technology.
This prevents the occurrence of standing waves in the stand due to the propagation of sound waves. Moreover, by making it consistent with the round baffle R section, the diffused reflection at the stand edge is eliminated.

It weighs as much as 14.5 kg and is highly stable.

American Walnut with open pore finish is used for the exterior cosmetic material of the legs.
