Commentary
AV pre-main amplifier with built-in 4-amp drive of 100W + 100W at the front and 20W + 20W at the rear.
An AV integrated Rec Out selector is provided for editing original video recorded with the camera.
There are 4 modes of picture and sound positions.
In Source mode, you can record and record the source according to the position of the input selector, and dub while watching the image you want to record or listening to the sound you want to record.
Tape1 mode in which the sound of the tape deck connected to Tape1 is sent to VCR1 or VCR2/Tape2.
The VCR1 mode sends images and sounds from a VCR connected to the VCR1, or only sounds to the Tape1 or VCR2/Tape2.
The VCR2/Tape2 mode sends images and sounds from a video deck connected to the VCR2/Tape2, or sounds from a tape deck, only sounds to Tape1, and images and sounds or sounds only to VCR1.
Four modes are available.
In addition to the Dolby Surround sound for Dolby stereo movie software, which can be enjoyed with the sound effect of a movie theater, Yamaha's original Surround sound, which utilizes the sound field feeling of the original source and creates natural sound based on filters, is installed.
In the Dolby Surround mode, you can play movie software with Dolby Surround credits.
The Natural Surround mode is for stereo sources. The front remains stereo, but only the rear signal is stiffened by matrix processing. Then, the signal is divided into L and R using a comb filter.
The Simulated Round is for a monaural source, and uses a comb filter to divide the rear into L and R for pseudo-stereo.
Features include a master volume with LED indicators, an LR-independent rear-level volume, and a bus extension switch that increases the volume of the lower range.
It is equipped with multi-input terminals for 8 systems of image Route 3 and sound.
It comes with a system remote control that can also operate some Yamaha component devices.
