Commentary
A quartz synthesizer tuner that condenses Technics technology to a width of 297 mm.
A swirl-in counter system is adopted in the synthesizer section to prevent spurious interference from occurring in the broadcast band.
By setting the reference frequency to 25 kHz, which is outside the range of audibility range, the crystal oscillation frequency and local frequency are compared and corrected. This prevents mixing into the music signal and improves the playback sound.
Up to 6 FM/AM stations can be preset.
It is equipped with an auto-scan tuning function that is convenient for finding the desired station when selecting a preset station. Tuning is performed by two electronic keys, up and down.
The frequency display is electronic.
Memory back-up with a 1F high-capacity gold capacitor keeps the preset for approximately one week during power outages or unplugging the outlet.
In addition, it can be charged in approximately 30 minutes after discharge.
A ladder-type 4-element narrow-band ceramic filter is used in the AM IF section to achieve high sensitivity and high selectivity.
Wing antenna (SH-F100) can be directly connected to the antenna terminal.
