Commentary
A shell-integrated MM cartridge developed in pursuit of both vibration and power generation systems.
The cantilever is a pure boron pipe cantilever developed independently by Technics.
Boron, which has the highest specific elastic modulus among elements and the hardness second only to that of diamond, is refined into a pipe by a special manufacturing method to realize an excellent oscillator effective mass of 0.098 mg and drive the high resonance frequency out of the audible band.
The "HPF" core has been used for all the magnetic circuits, and the transmission characteristics of the magnetic circuit have been flattened to the ultra-high frequency range. In addition, the "HPF" magnetic circuit achieves perfect separation of the left and right channels and symmetrical arrangement, thereby minimizing disturbance of characteristics caused by imbalance between channels.
It uses a special viscoelastic damper TTDD (Technics Temperature Deference Damper) that reduces unstable elements due to temperature changes from the cartridge, and always obtains stable tracing capability.
