Commentary
Arm unit for high compliance cartridge.
As shown in the photograph, it is attached to the arm base EPA-B500 (sold separately) for use.
Taking over the functions of EPA-100, a unique dynamic damping mechanism is adopted for the balance weight.
The low-frequency resonance sharpness of the arm unit has been improved by more than 6 dB compared to the normal arm.
The arm pipe uses a titanium nitride (TiN) tapered pipe that is made by hardening titanium, which is lightweight and has high mechanical strength, with nitrogen. It is resistant to bending and twisting and prevents unnecessary resonance.
