Commentary
A high-quality stereo cassette deck incorporating Otto technology.
The mechanism part adopts a direct drive system using a saturable core type DC brushless motor, and has obtained excellent switching characteristics with an excellent voltage detection ratio and excellent characteristics with 8 poles and 24 slots.
A 2-motor configuration is provided with a dedicated DC motor for rewind and fast forward.
LGF (Longlife Grain Ferrite) head is used for recording and reproducing head.
The LGF head is a poly-crystal type with excellent S/N. By expanding the particles with a special manufacturing method, it solves problems such as peeling off the edge and particle falling off. This enables sharp processing around gaps, etc., and also improves the S/N ratio and enables high-level recording in the high-frequency range.
As for abrasion resistance, it has a semi-permanent hardness of 200000 hours -2dB.
As a noise reduction system, it is equipped with a Dolby circuit and can improve the hissing in the high range by nearly 10 dB.
In addition, in order to maximize these characteristics, a recording calibration function that can be adjusted for each left / right channel and each tape is installed.
Equipped with peak level indicators for each left and right channel.
Constant voltage power supply circuit is adopted.
A three stage tape selector and an independent line input circuit are adopted.
It uses a self-lighting type feather touch operation button that can confirm the operation of each section.
Auto-rewind, Oatley Peat, fully automatic head-tracking recording, etc. are possible.
Equipped with a meter panel up mechanism by oil damper.
