Commentary
An Alf series CD player whose internal structure has been reconsidered to eliminate adverse effects on sound quality.
The CD - α 9 uses a center construction of the power transformer to prevent the leakage flux generated by the transformer itself from adversely affecting the audio circuit.
In this system, a power transformer filled with filler is mounted on the back of the body and laid out in the center position as in the CD mechanism to achieve a lower center of gravity and an exquisite balance between front and back weights, which improves the tracking capability and servo stability of the pickup.
The D/A converter uses a 1-bit delta-sigma (delta-sigma) D/A converter.
This system is a combination of over-sampling and noise shaping technology and high-speed C-MOS-LSI technology. It has obtained linear characteristics with low distortion from large amplitude signals of 0 dB to small signals of minus 100 dB.
In order to eliminate internal vibration and resonance caused by mechanical drive, transparent resin material with excellent vibration absorption characteristics is used for the mechanism base and insulator.
In addition, the CD - α 9 uses an excellent vibration absorbing material and a copper-plated rear panel to isolate the vibration transmission path of the trans-rear panel, the rear panel-chassis, and the chassis-power supply board.
An electrolytic capacitor for audio is used in the power supply.
Low impedance output stage with discrete configuration is adopted.
Side aluminum panel is equipped as standard.
Uses very thick power cable with polarity display equivalent to AU - α series.
Gold-plated terminal is used for output terminal.
It also has optical digital output.
CARS PRO recording is possible by combining with Deck D - α 7.
Equipped with 3-mode edit functions (AUTO, HALF, HOLD).
It is equipped with functions such as 24-track random program memory, random play, repeat one or all songs, music scan, and last one memory for each mode.
Gold plated RCA pin cable is equipped as standard.
Comes with a 28-key wireless remote control with 10-key direct control.
