Commentary
Highly efficient design 2-way speaker system.
The input resistant design allows clear playback from low volume to high volume, while the high efficiency design allows for a wide dynamic range playback.
A 16 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit realizes rich sound by connecting directly without passing through a network circuit. In addition, the crossover frequency is set as high as 5 kHz by utilizing the know-how of the full range unit unique to Diatone, and flat frequency characteristics are obtained by allowing the 16 cm unit to receive the range from low to middle to high range.
A 5 cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex design that takes into consideration the matching with the woofer unit, a highly rigid round duct is used for the duct, and a symmetrical unit layout is used for the front baffle. This makes the directivity pattern of the tweeter at the listening point symmetrical, making the sound spread and sound image localization clear.
The internal structure uses a distributed resonance enclosure created by Diatone's unique vibration analysis technology and modal analysis and other checks. The joint structure also uses a strong enveloping handle connection. In this structure, the resonance mode is dispersed by placing reinforcing materials in place to prevent the box from ringing.
