JBL LX80
Released in 1976
¥ 65,000 (1 unit, around 1978)
Commentary
The network uses excellent parts such as high-voltage non-polar capacitors and low-loss Orient Core coils.
The LX80 is compatible with 8 Ω, but with a special compensation circuit, 375 (16 Ω) can be matched without changing the crossover characteristics.
When the enclosure is mounted, a plastic tube packing is used for the frame to maintain airtightness.
