Commentary
Driver unit for middle and high frequencies adopted in L300.
It uses a magnetic circuit with weight of 4.5 kg and magnetic flux density of 19,000 gauss using Alnico V magnet, and a voice coil with 4.4 cm diameter aluminum ribbon wire edge width winding.
In order to obtain a flat response, a pure silver impedance control ring is used for the phasing plug.
Can be used from 500 Hz.
Can be used in combination with HL87, HL91 and HL92 of 2.5 cm throat diameter.
