Commentary

Floor type enclosure using rear loading horn system.

The inside has a folded horn structure with a total length of 2m, enabling playback in the low frequency range up to 40 Hz and a flat response at 60 Hz or more.
Frequencies above 150 Hz are played directly from the speakers.

The unit can mount 38 cm diameter speakers.

Initially available in two colors, black and gray, 4530 sf with a gray finish and 4530 bk with a black finish, and the earliest with a round cavity at the top two corners of the baffle.
In the catalog photo, there is no logo on the side in the early stage, and there is JBL logo on the side from around 1978.

The 4530BK-S is a Japanese domestic type. By this time, imported original products were ordered to order.
