Commentary
PA speaker systems such as 4700 Series and 4800 Series, and digital channel dividers programmed specifically for K2.
As an active network (2-way dual channel, 2/3/4-way single channel) for perfect control of the speakers, it is equipped with a special equalizer function for each model of JBL speaker system, a time delay function to compensate for the time difference caused by the distance between units, and a transducer protection limiter function to protect the speaker unit from abnormal signals.
The filter for crossover and system equalization has a constant group delay in which amplitude and phase characteristics are independent, and is designed with FIR (Finite Impulse Response) so that no phase shift occurs.
The crossover filter is an FIR type with no phase rotation and has an extremely steep slope characteristic, realizing a filter slope of -50 to -100dB/oct.
Equipped with a signal alignment function, you can compensate for the time lag caused by the acoustic center difference between the various units in the JBL speaker system and the compression driver.
The XLR input and output terminals are designed with low impedance, with active balanced inputs and unbalanced outputs.
It can also be changed to a floating balance output by incorporating an output transformer (sold separately).
