CORAL 8CX-50

Commentary
This 20cm2-way coaxial speaker unit is the most highly evaluated in the Coral Golden 50 series.
20 cm cone type woofer and horn type tweeter are combined.
The edge part of the woofer uses a skybar edge.
This is a variant of the free edge and is used overseas as roll surround edge.
The magnetic circuit uses a pole yoke made of NKS magnet and high-purity iron material to improve efficiency.
The voice coil uses a long travel type to prevent the voice coil from coming off even at a large amplitude from the next time.
Duralumin diaphragm of 20 micron thickness is used for the vibration plate of the tweeter.
We have also adopted an aluminum edge-wise voice coil for the voice coil and a newly combined magnetic circuit for improving the level of the tweeter.
A rectangular diecast horn is used for the horn section.
A tweeter equalizer adjusts the phase shift of the sound from the diaphragm.
A prominent frame has been adopted for the frame part.
This frame structure reduces unnecessary distortion when mounted in a cabinet.
It has a built-in network.
There was a separately sold 8CX-50 dedicated bass reflex cabinet.
