Commentary
1-inch throat driver unit adopting PASCALITE diaphragm.
It adopts PASCALITE structure diaphragm assembly developed in 299 which is driver unit of 1.4 inch throat.
The voice coil adopts a high-heat-resistant voice coil bobbin made of aramid fiber to improve durability against long-time high-power drive.
Using a Tangerine radial phase plug, high efficiency is achieved while maintaining the correct phase relationship.
Ferrite magnet is used for the magnet, ensuring a magnetic flux density of 18000 Gauss.
There were 2 kinds of variations, 909 to 8 a of 8 Ω specification and 909 to 16 a of 16 Ω specification.
The 909 / 8 a / 16 a can be combined with the MR994A. Moreover, by using the 21216 conversion throat, it can be combined with medium and large manta ray ray-horns such as the MRII500 series.
